Who will win the 'Race to Nepal'?

Week 2 - NICOLLE IN THE LEAD

Find out more about our sponsored House Challenge here

The Tiffin Girls' School is thrilled to have been awarded £2.9m funding from the Department of Education to build a state-of-the-art multi-use Sports Centre and refurbish our existing gyms.

This transformational project will provide the opportunity for the promotion and development of sport and the value of healthy exercise habits for lifelong fitness and mental wellbeing in all students and the surrounding community.

We now need to raise £200,000 to provide the cutting-edge equipment and much needed facilities to make this a truly exceptional school and community use facility.

To understand the impact that the Sports Centre will have on our students, please watch our Campaign video.

CAMPAIGN PATRONS

We are proud to be supported by our alumnae Patrons:

Sarah Winckless MBE

Alumna | GB rower |
World Champion & Olympic Medallist

"When I was at Tiffin Girls’, I played hockey and netball which I absolutely love..... I’m so excited to hear about the new Sports Centre. I can only imagine the memories, the competitions, the learning that is going to happen in that environment. "

Sue Smith MBE

Alumna | Former Chair of Swim England |

Local Goverment Facilities and Leisure Management

"Good facilities, along with the right equipment and supported by inspirational staff, can really help to develop a passion for sport that stays with people for life, contributing to their health and wellbeing as well as being fun!"

Sophie Bray MBE

Alumna | GB Hockey International |
Olympic and European Gold Medallist

"I believe making as many different sports as accessible as possible is the first step and key for encouraging more girls to participate in sport. We simply can’t afford for participation numbers in this age group to get any lower!!"

In addition to the support of our Patrons, we are honoured that the Sports Centre Campaign is sure-handedly supported by a Campaign Board comprising experienced parents, alumnae and partners from local businesses and organisations along with a Student Board whose members are working hard to determine a series of whole school events and activities throughout the campaign.
